I no nothing whatsoever about israel's technology, and i dont no why israel stands out. Nathaniel

1a. i dont know anythin about israeli science technology and society.
1b. what israel made that we use in America.
2. it seems like israel has made important machines or systems.
3. we use them to help and communicate. they made a lot of stuff to help doctors.
4. our societies use them almost every day.

Nothing much. I know that they contributed a lot of stuff to our world today, but that's about it. All I know is they didn't contribute the best OS ever...
I want to know how they got the funds to develop all that stuff.
It may stand out, but no one really pays attention to Israel in terms of technology. They don't think of Israel as as technological country. They think it of a more religious sort of country.
The next two questions don't match up with what I just said. (Scott)

1a. Israel has created cutting edge tech that has helped us live our lives in new ways
1b.What has israel created? I know of ICQ, sms, voice mail, gut cam, and a few others.
2.This small country must advance to surive, and what better way to advance then to make advances happen in your country.
3.It keeps Israel afloat, and push the cutting edge, allowing the world to advance.
4. it means that this tiny country changes the world, and makes itself a powerhouse in the world.

1a. Israel has made several advances in the medical, science, and technical fields. I personally wentto Weizman University in Israel and saw solar panels there that helped power the university.
1b. This might sound corny, but i want to be a veterinarian. What medical advances that can be used for animals has Israel been responsible for? Also, what projects are now pending for more advances in science and technology?
2. Well of course there is that stereotype that states that Jews are smart, but that is not really a substantial reason Israel stands out. I think that because it is so new a country, it makes sense that the thinking within the country is new and innovative.
3. There is a lot of antisemitism in the world today, and many people want to shove Israel into the Mediterranean. It is important that Israel has this factor of being advanced in technology for, to put it dramatically, self preservation, or at least respect.
4. Well of course society uses a lot of the technology that Israelis have invented everyday. Also, the fact that Israel, such a small country that some people truly hate, is so successful, is ironic, in kind of stick it to the manish. It kind of teaches the world not to mess with Israel. We're that skilled. :-D

Hi. I know nothing about Israel and its technology, science, and society. And I'm not sure what there is to know, so I don't know what I want to know. I think Israel stands out in technology becuase Israel is such a small country, but it has made many technological advances. I'm not sure why that matters. I'm not sure what that means for society.
